Uthana is an AI platform built around one thing: realistic human motion. It gives game studios, 3D creators, simulation teams and robotics labs the models and data they need to generate, adapt and deploy 3D human movement without booking a motion capture stage.
Generate motion from video or text
- Video-to-motion: converts a human performance in ordinary video into editable, full-body 3D skeletal motion, including finger movement.
- Text-to-motion: turns a natural-language prompt into editable full-body 3D character animation, with multiple model versions to balance cost and quality.
- Controllable locomotion: produces directional walking and running cycles, plus stitching and looping tools to join clips seamlessly.
Characters, retargeting and robots
You don't need a rigged character to start. Uthana can auto-rig an unrigged model, apply motion to your own characters through skeleton retargeting, or adapt human motion to humanoid robot structures for imitation learning and simulation. Motion exports as FBX, GLB or BVH, with presets for Unreal Engine 5 and Roblox Studio, and plugins are available for Blender and Maya.
Built for developers and data teams
A GraphQL API covers motion generation, rigging, retargeting, asset management and downloads, and the same credit balance works across the web app and the API. For AI and robotics teams, Uthana also licenses a Studio Motion Dataset of 250+ hours of ground-truth 3D human motion captured at 120 fps and runs custom data programs. That combination makes Uthana one of the most technical 3D animation generator tools available, serving both creative and embodied-AI use cases.
